2007 - Krush V Kentaro flyer
I
just completed a flyer for DJ
Krush v
DJ Kentaro. The flyer
needed to show this being a "master v protoge" DJ battle
and
went for a slightly loser style than usual on this to give it
a
more retro and rougher look.
Can't wait for the gig itself, should be a cracker. |

2007 - Portraits of Belleruche
Belleruche asked
me to produce an illustration of the band for their forthcoming debut
album on Brighton based label, Tru
Thoughts. The illustration is
based on a photo of the band taken by Matt
Farrow.

March 2007 - Bond style poster for FHM
advertorial
Here
I was commissioned to produce a bond style "poster" for
a competition advertorial that appears in the
March 2007 edition
of FHM. The prize for winning was a "Bond" themed
holiday in Miami, spending time with supermodels,
and driving flash cars.

March 2007 - Cityscapes produced for pitch
The 3 cityscapes
below were produced for a recent pitch. The client requested a
series of images showing a city without power,
and then show the city "switched on". A selection
of the work I produced is shown below:

- Eric Garcetti
This portrait
of L.A. city councilman, Eric Garcetti was produced for "Tu Ciudad
Los Angeles" - a magazine that covers lifestyles, entertainment
and culture
in the L.A. from a Latino perspective.
The illustration accompanied a news article looking
at Los Angeles city councilman
Eric Garcetti’s pride in
his Latino heritage.

Forthcoming Exhibition Confirmed
at The
Pool Bar, Curtain Rd, Shoreditch from Thursday January
18th 2007
I'm exhibiting new and old work at The
Pool Bar in Shoreditch. The launch night will be on January the 18th,
and entertainment will be provided by my friends Belleruche and
Bam Bam.
Belleruche have just put out their 4th release, "4 Songs" ep:
"Created from dusty vinyl, scratched
blues, overdriven amps and heartfelt soul, the songs have been
honed whilst the trio have played live across the country from
Edinburgh to Penzance."
Bam
Bam are Djs Duck and Johnny Clash. They'll be providing some
reggae sounds
early on in the evening, and letting rip with the drum & bass later
on. |

Magazine have commissioned
me to produce an illustration of
skateboarder Paul Rodriguez. The illustration accompanies Paul's
skateboard
DVD review section in the latest edition of the magazine. |

December 2006 - Advanced Photoshop Magazine
I'm giving away all my trade secrets
in the next issue of Advanced Photoshop
Magazine. I was asked to produce a piece of work for their forthcoming
issue focusing
on urban art, and give a tutorial on how to create it. |

The Big Issue (London edition) have commissioned
me once more. I've produced
a piece to accompany an article on
The Big Issue itself, celebrating its 15th
anniversary. My illustration is based on a picture taken by a
very talented
photographer, Matt
Farrow. |

I've been given
the opportunity to hang my work at the next "Bakedbeats" on
Sunday August 27th at Shillibeers,
London, N7.
Bakedbeats is an all day event featuring live bands,
DJ's and artists.

When I return to England on Saturday
the 29th July I'm going to be DJ'ing at
Digital City, Corsica Studios, Elephant and
Castle, London - click here for full info.
The following day (Sunday 30th) I'll be DJ'ing
at the Big Chill Bar, Dray Walk
(just off Brick Lane), London...
"Vancouver's Upstairs Recordings is having a party in London
with some of
its closest UK dj friends. We want you there!"
I'm also going making my yearly pilgrimage to
the Big Chill
Festival where I'll be
having fun, and DJ'ing on
Big Chill FM (87.7fm I think), 7-8pm on Thursday 3rd
August.
If you're pitching your tent then I will do my best to provide
a suitable soundtrack. |

author Greg Palast in anticipation
of the release of his new book, "Armed Madhouse".
I was asked to produce
an illustration of Greg, combining some of the topics
discussed in the book
with his portrait. |

I've just finished a couple of illustrations
of all girl punk band, "The
Slits".
They were going to be in the next issue of Fact Magazine, but
the article has been dropped :( I'm pretty pleased with what
I did though... |
