  Pic-Nic Village Logo Design

  Pic-Nic Village

Pic-Nic Village is a new social networking website due to launch in 2011. I was asked to work up the initial
concept for the logo that they had into a brand that was fun, friendly and demonstrates connectivity.

  iPresent logo

  iPresent

iPresent is an interactive sales application for the iPad. It offers a new way for organisations to manage, access and present their sales content.

Compsoft brought me in to work on the branding, interface and sales website design. The application is due for launch early next year

  Plimsoll Records

  Plimsoll Records

New record label “Plimsoll” approached me to come up with an identity that used a shoe lace to spell out the label name.

Taking the old “Sugarhill Gang” logo as inspiration I produced something that was instantly recognisable and has worked well in implementation across various formats including the record labels that I also design.

A lot of my website traffic comes from the search term "shoelace font". If you are looking for a shoelace logo why not contact me for a quote? The handrawn treatment is 100% more effective than any off the shelf font.

  Yarnhooker

  Yarnhooker

Yarnhooker is an online one stop shop for anyone who knits or crochets. The site and brand is aimed at a
younger and more fashionable audience than what is currently catered for online. Website is currently in
development and due to launch later this year.

  Creative Soles Logo

  Creative Soles Logo

Creative Soles approached me to design their logo after seeing the Plimsoll logo - they already had the idea that they wanted to use the lace style type. I matched this with a solid and chunky font to make a logo with strong impact for their custom footware company.

  Kings of Neon logo

  Kings of Neon Logo

After succesfully creating "Creative Soles" company logo they came back to me and asked for a design for an offshoot company "Kings of Neon", which specialises in producing custom footwear in bright neon colours.

  Eventful

  Eventful

Eventful is a team of talented people who have spent the last eight years working with a broad range of organisations, agencies and artists to deliver innovative events and other creative projects throughout the UK.

  Soxan

  Soxan

A/V event organisors “Soxan” asked me to work on a new logo and flyer concept.

The brief was to create a logo that was contemporary, playful, and something that be easily incorporated into the flyers of their themed events.

I designed the logo from scratch, creating the font specifically for the job. The flyer was produced to show how the logo could easily be linked in to the theme of one of their nights, “Soxan Spice”.

  Shoebox

  Shoebox

Logo design for an off-shoot of Plimsoll records (see previous page). The logo represents a collection of 7″ records in a Shoebox, container of choice for djs who are short of storage space.

  Digital City

  Digital City

Digital City have been running parties throughout London since 2005. I joined the team after their 1st party, and have been looking after design and promotion since then. The logo is designed to be adaptable across various mediums – on posters, projected on to venue walls, printed on to t-shirts etc.

  Aardvark to Zebra Logo

  Aardvark to Zebra

Aarvark to Zebra is an eclectic music event that happens monthly in Clerkenwell, London. I was asked to come up with a logo for the event, and a flyer template.

For the logo I took a simple approach, working the “A” and the “Z” into representations of the Aardvark and Zebra.
