Introduction
Welcome to my online portfolio. If you haven't been here for a while you'll notice my site has gone through a major overhaul - lot's of new work has been added and hopefully it's a bit more pleasing on the eye in general.

For those of you who are visiting for the 1st time let me tell you a little bit about me and what I do. I'm a graphic designer / illustrator from London and I've been working in the design industry for 12 years. During this time I've worked in many areas of the design industry - book design, website design, CD-Roms, Digital TV, flyers & posters, illustration and much more.

I'm currently freelancing but am in the process of looking for a full time job in London as a graphic designer. I can code a little, but my strengths are in the visual side of things as I hope my portfolio demonstrates.
While I am looking for a full time job I'm still currently available for freelance illustration and design projects. If you require any Graphic Design, Illustration, Website Design or Logo Design, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

All my contact details are here.

This page is where I showcase my latest work, but you can view a larger selection from my portfolio by clicking the "full portfolio" link above (in case that's not clear!). My full portfolio contains a selection of work from my career to date - CD Rom design, website design, logo and branding work, design for print and illustration work.

Thanks for visiting my site!
Website design for Big Chill Recordings artist Animat

Animat Website | November 2008

After producing the artwork for Animat's debut album "Earplay" I was asked to redesign their website. I took the album artwork as a starting point and came up with something that was clean, simple and easy to update.

Purple Radio Website

Purple Radio Website | September 2008

Purple Radio is an online not-for-profit radio station. They required a complete redesign of their website and identity with the emphasis on giving it a professional and contemporary look, plenty of space for content, and make it easy to update.
The front page (above left) incorporated room for latest news stories (upcoming gigs etc), schedule, and a shoutbox - overall I wanted to give it more of a “magazine” feel.
To lessen the workload for the technical team we decided to give all the djs their own blog page so they can update charts and playlists themselves.
Site build is currently in progress and scheduled to go live before the end of 2008.

Animat CD Cover

CD Artwork for Animat | August 2008

Big Chill Recordings artist “Animat” asked me to design artwork for their latest album “Earplay”. Taking the album title as a starting point I came up with a design based on a stylised pair of ears performing to an “audience” of ears.

Aardvark 2 Zebra identity and flyer

Aarvark to Zebra, identity and flyer | July 2008

Aarvark to Zebra is an eclectic music event that happens monthly in Clerkenwell, London. I was asked to come up with a logo for the event, and a flyer template. For the logo I took a simple approach, working the “A” and the “Z” into representations of the Aardvark and Zebra. The flyer was heavily influenced by old afrobeat album artwork, and the LP feel is emphasised further by the “record” coming out of the side of the flyer. The flyer template colour scheme is easy to change, giving each event it’s own identity.

Digital City Website

Digital City Website | March 2008

Digital City have been running parties throughout London since 2005. I joined the team after their1st party, and have been looking after design and promotion since then. This is the latest version of the website. The splash page has the latest poster for each event “flyposted” onto it - this allows us to change the “theme” for each event, without wrecking the over all style of the site. Content has been laid out fairly simply making the site as easy and quick to update as possible.

The Magic Hours website

The Magic Hours website | January 2008

The Magic Hours is a wedding and events photography company that needed a website to showcase their work and get new business. The site also needed to be designed to work with a content management system. I offered a solution that divided the site into 2 clear sections - weddings, and events. The user of the site selects which section they wish to visit from the front page of the site which acts as a hub for the 2 different sections.
